- In 2010, Merici received National Solar Schools Program funding to install a 5kW Solar system. We currently produce approximately 7000kWh of solar energy per year through this system, which is fed into the electricity grid.
- In December 2018, we will install a 93kW solar PV system on campus, which will produce about 138, 196 kWh per year, all being used on campus. Stay tuned!
- LED: In 2018 we participated in the ACT Government’s Big Business Light Switch, for which we invested in upgrading the majority of our internal lighting to from inefficient fluorescents to LED bulbs and strips.
